A payment processing fee is charged for Telstra bills paid by credit card. For Visa, MasterCard and American Express the rate is 0.69% (1% on and from 14 September 2009) of the payment amount, plus applicable GST. For Diners the rate is 1.68% (2% on and from 14 September 2009) of the payment amount, plus applicable GST.

On and from 14 September 2009 a $2.20 payment administration fee applies for each bill payment sent through the mail or made in person at a Telstra Shop or Australia Post. If you use your credit card to pay your bill in person, both the credit card payment processing and payment administration fees will apply.

To avoid these fees, use an electronic payment option, such as one of our Direct Debit options or BPAY®, to pay your bill from a cheque or savings account. Some exemptions from these fees also apply, including eligible pensioner concession card holders.

Visit our Bill Payment Fees page for more information on these fees and the exemptions that may be available to you.

Sep 2, 05:53 AM in

The fabulous thing about pre- paid mobile plans are that you control the amount of which you want to spend by being able to recharge at your desire and the best thing is there are no bills arriving that you cannot afford to pay.

Whether you like to talk or text, it’s a great way of keeping in touch with family and friends and you can purchase your pre- paid cards at most outlets from stores to service stations, so you are never far away from a place that you can purchase your recharge card.

You can go pre-paid on Next G and the coverage is brilliant in mostly 99% of the population so you are covered super well on this plan. With Next G, you can download and play games, watch mobile Foxtel and search for numbers on Yellow along with emailing your friends.
